- Design/preparation of 100% plans for 2-mile realignment of MD 216
- Project located near environmentally-sensitive Hammond Branch
- Instituted environmental stewardship program to mitigate impact to the area
- Dual-divided highway with two signalized intersections
- New off-ramp from I-95 South to MD 216 West
- Reconstruction of Leishear and Crest Roads
- 200,000 CY+ earthwork operations; box culvert extensions; utility coordination
- Installation and design of all roadway and installation of electric, water, sewer, gas, petroleum, fiber optic and cabling
- Design/construction of all highway-related items
- Bifurcating the proposed roadway balanced earthwork, reduced impact to wetlands and buffers, and cut months off the project schedule
- Public relations efforts included monthly community meetings, newsletters & an 800 telephone line
